STEELEVILLE – Robert L. Lueth, 89, of Steeleville passed away at 4:57 AM, Sunday, February 10, 2019, at his daughter's home in Willisville.

Robert was born on November 27, 1929, in Sparta, the son of Herman and Hester (Honey) Lueth. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean era, he then worked and retired from the General Motor Corp., in St. Louis, Missouri. He married Faye Patterson, on February 25, 1977. Robert was of the Protestant faith, and member of the United Auto Workers.

Robert is survived by his wife Faye Lueth, of Steeleville, 13 children, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother; William "Bud" Lueth, of Marietta, Georgia.

Mr. Lueth was preceded in death by his parents, 2 infant children, 1 grandson, 4 sisters, and 7 brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, February 15, 2019, at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Tom Foster officiating, and burial will follow at the Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta. Visitation will be held on Friday where friends may call from 11 AM until 2 PM, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
