AVA – Robert Truman Hunt, 76, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Illinois.

Robert was born on August 29, 1947, in Carrollton, IL, the son of Wilmot and Eileen (Walters) Hunt. Robert was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired.

Robert is survived by his children: Gena (Phillip) Bramlett of Ava, IL, Jenny D. (William) Lake of Virden, IL, Roseella Hunt of T or C, New Mexico; his grandchildren: Mason Hunt, Casey Morgan, Christopher & Tami Bramlett, Juan & Frankie J. Torrese; his great grandson, Callen Lawson, and his sister, Jennifer Yates of Alton, IL.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and a son, David Michael Swain Hunt.

It was Robert's wish for cremation with no services at this time.
