SPARTA – Robert L. Higgerson, 79, of Sparta, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta, IL.

Robert was born March 27, 1941 in Sparta, IL, to Purm and Dorothy (Sitkosite) Higgerson.  Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Spartan Printing in Salem, IL.  He was also an avid golfer.

Robert is survived by his sons; Robert Lee Higgerson of Statesboro, GA, Ryan Wayne Higgerson of El Paso, TX, Bradley Allen Higgerson of Prairie Village, KS. Five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Brothers; Floyd Wayne (Mary) Higgerson of Lathrop, MO and Eugene Purm Higgerson of Chester, IL.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Barbara Willingham and Linda Glenn.
