MARSHALL- Robert Gene Bilderback, age 70, of Marshall, IL passed away at 1:51 PM at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. Robert was born on April 10, 1940 in Ava, IL to John E. and Gladys (Reiman) Bilderback. He married Nona Nelson on October 1, 1966 in Geneva, IL. He served in the US Army and was retired as an Air Traffic Controller in 1996 after 35 years of service. Robert is survived by his wife Nona of Marshall, IL. Two sons David Bilderback and Daniel Bilderback both of Marshall, IL. One Brother John F. Bilderback and his wife Carol of Percy, IL. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Lester D. Bilderback. Mr. Bilderback was a life member of VFW Post #5975 of Marshall, IL. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday at the Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall, IL. Visitation will also be on Sunday from 1:00- 2:00 pm at the church. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm at the Pleasant Hill Christian Church in Murphysboro, IL. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
