CUTLER, Robert D. Brawley, 55, of Cutler, passed away at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, IL. He was born November 2, 1953 in Red Bud, Illinois the son of Truman Brawley and Vivian (Turner) Brawley. Robert married Kathy S. Morgan on July 29, 1972 in Percy, Illinois. He worked as a security guard for the mines and was of the Pentecostal faith. He is survived by his wife Kathy Brawley of Cutler; daughter: Mindy and James Douglas of Willisville, IL; grandchildren: Ashley Easton, Tamica Easton, Tracy Douglas, Daniella Burton, and Devin Burton.; great grandchild Kaitlyn Hunter; mother: Vivian Brawley of Percy, IL; sisters: Nina and Marion Henson of Percy, IL; sister-in-law: Tammy Miller and Steve (Boomer); nephews: Terry and Deanna Harvey Jr., Travis and Sarah Stehl, Ronny and Heather Stehl; several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother, Truman Everett Brawley Jr. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Tri-County Pentecostal Church in Cutler. Rev. Dave Illig will be officiating. Burial will be at Cutler Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 to 8pm at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, IL and then on Friday from 7:30 am until Noon, then from 12:30 to 2pm at the church. Memorials may be made to the family.
