MURPHYSBORO – Richard Laine, Reiman, 31, of Murphysboro, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at home.

Richard was born in Carbondale, Illinois, on April 2, 1994, the son of Joseph Lyndall and Regina Cross Reiman. He was a member of the Ava Missionary Baptist Church, Ava.

Richard is survived by his mother, Regina M. Cross Reiman of Murphysboro; brother, Joseph "Bunk" (Cayla) Reiman of Vergennes, IL; sister, Michelle Mifflin of Ava; aunts, Ruth (Joe Dean) Smith of Ava, JoAnn (Tim Davis) Hunter of Steeleville, Susan (Roy) Wanless of Ava; uncles, Roger (Wanda) Cross of Ava, Mike (Deb) Cross of Ava, Gary Cross of Ava, Larry (Kim) Cross of Ava, Ross T. (Debra) Reiman of Pocahontas, IL, and Phil (Barb) Reiman of Highland, IL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Richard was preceded in death by his Father, Joe Reiman; his grandparents, Allen and Wilma Cross and Ross L. and Shirley M. Reiman; and one cousin, Kolton Wanless.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, with Rev. Kent Eaton officiating. Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call on Friday from 10 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to the family.
