WILLISVILLE – Richard A. Hart, 62, of Willisville, passed away at 9:40 am, Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the home of his brother, Ronald.

Richard was born in East St. Louis, Illinois, on August 16, 1960, the son of Donald, Sr. and Shirley Smith Hart.  He married Mary Wooley on June 15, 2002, in Columbia, Illinois.  She preceded him in death on March 21, 2022.  Richard was a Veteran of the US Navy.  He was a retired Carpenter and of the Baptist Faith.  Richard enjoyed wood carving, camping and spending time outdoors.

Richard is survived by daughters, Stacy, Shannon and Melinda; son, Tim; granddaughter, Bree; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Debra (Riley) Turner of Willisville and Cathy (Mike) Quillman of Ruma, IL; and brothers, Ronald (Lorie) Hart, Sr. of Carbondale; and Rev. Donald (Penny) Hart, Jr. of Gassville, AR.

Richard was also preceded in death by his Parents and son, Ricky Hart.

Funeral service will be on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 8:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, with Rev. Donald Hart, Jr. officiating.  Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 6 pm until 8 pm Monday.  Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Hospital.  To sign the guestbook visit www.wilsonsfuneralhome.net.
