AVA – Raymond James “Jamie” Gerberding, 54, of Ava, IL, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, in Marquand, Missouri.

Jamie was born on October 27, 1971, in Murphysboro, IL to Raymond J. and Sadie R. (McCann) Gerberding. Jamie was a member of Ava Missionary Baptist Church.

Jamie is survived by his mother, Sadie R. Brooks of Ava, IL, and his sister, Dawn (Everett) Bugg of Richmond, KY.

Jamie was preceded in death by his father, and his brother, Gregory Ray Gerberding.
