PERCY - Raymond E. "Bubba" Jones, Jr., 41, of Percy, passed away at 1:20 pm, Monday, May 12, 2014 in Madison, Illinois. Raymond was born in Owensboro, KY on January 20, 1973, the son of Raymond E. and Patty A. Jaimet Jones, Sr. He was of Baptist Faith. Raymond was an over the road driver for LTI Trucking of Madison, Illinois. Raymond's favorite things to do were playing poker and wrestling with his friends and family. He loved to attend the Motley Crue concerts in St. Louis every year. Raymond is survived by one daughter, Savannah Jones of Sparta; his mother and stepfather, Patty and Bob Shute of Pinckneyville, IL; his girlfriend, Stacy Cheek of Belleville, IL; one uncle, Steve Jaimet of Percy; half sister, Tammy Cook of Rome, GA; aunt, Betty Throop of Percy; and his Godparents, Donna and Bob Miller of Steeleville. Raymond was preceded in death by his Father, Raymond; and two aunts, Kathy Jaimet and Sharon Gerberding. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 16, 2014 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Percy with Rev. Terry Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Percy Village Cemetery, Percy, Illinois. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Percy, where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Thursday and on Friday from 7:30 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to a Love Fund for the Family.
