Obituary
STEELEVILLE, Ray H. Hinnerichs, 70, of Steeleville, passed away at 6:18 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, Illinois. He was born September 12, 1945 in Red Bud, Illinois the son of Elmer F. and Norma (Junge) Hinnerichs.
Ray was a retired truck driver for Gilster Mary Lee Corporation. He was also retired from UMWA as a coal miner. Ray was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville, the UMWA Local #1320 and the Steeleville Eagles.
He is survived by his sons: Kyle (Lauren) Hinnerichs, Steeleville, Klay Hinnerichs, Percy and Kory (Danielle) Hinnerichs, Steeleville; Grandchildren: Logan, Allie, Jaden, Kane and Johnnie Lyn. Ray is also survived by his brother, Roger (Mary Jane) Hinnerichs, Steeleville.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents and 1 daughter, Jennifer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, Illinois with Rev. Kelly C. Bedard officiating. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.Ray H.
