STEELEVILLE – Randy P. Scharge, 56, of Steeleville passed away at 12:09 PM, Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at the Sparta Community Hospital.

Randy was born on March 27, 1962, in Highland, Illinois, the son of Paul and Judith (Zobrist) Scharge. Randy was a professional painter with Jan Can Paint Service, Steeleville, and he married Janice Tegtmeyer on July 3, 2013, in Ava. Randy was of the Catholic Faith.

Randy is survived by his wife; Janice Scharge, of Steeleville, 2 children; Nicole Scharge, and Trey Scharge, grandchildren; Noah, Addison, and Aden, 4 step children; Alana Grimm, Mya Grimm, Avery Grimm, Bailey Grimm, and mother in law, Eileen Tegtmeyer.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and father in law; Paul Tegtmeyer.

It was Randy's wishes to be cremated.  Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 23, 2019 at River of Life Church in Percy. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is assisting the family with the arrangements.
