PERCY – Randy Alan Ashby, 68, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Illinois.

Randy was born on September 6, 1955, in Detroit, MI, the son of Floyd and Lila L. (Fisk) Ashby. He married Connie Ebers on August 9, 1975, in Campbell Hill, IL. Randy was an avid sports fan, especially loving the Chicago Cubs.

Randy is survived by his wife, Connie Ashby of Percy, IL, his children: Mandy Risinger of Ava, IL, Bradon Ashby (Christopher Chaney) of Carbondale, IL; his brother, Jack (Gail) Ashby of Perryville, MO, and several nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Preston Levi, two brothers, Jerry L. Ashby and Danny R. Ashby.

Randy' wishes were for Cremation and a private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to a Love Fund for the Family and can be mailed in c/o Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
