CAMPBELL HILL, Randall Vanover, 55, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 3:10 A.M. Monday, October 11, 2010, at Memorial Hospital of Chester in Chester, IL. He was born October 21, 1954 in Red Bud, Illinois the son of Thomas Dean Wilson and Gertrude Vanover. Randall married Beverly Fisher on August 31, 1979 in Chester, Illinois. He is survived by his wife Beverly Vanover of Campbell Hill, IL; Children: Elizabeth and Jason McDonald of Cutler, IL, Randall Eugene Vanover II of Willisville, IL, Audra (Shawn Edwards)Vanover of Evansville, IL and Dustin and Amanda Vanover of Campbell Hill, IL; two grandchildren: Dylan Sickels and Cheyenne McDonald; stepmother: Peggy Wilson of Steeleville, IL, Brothers: Kellen (Maritza Maldonado) Wilson of Island Lake, IL, Frank and Jan Wilson of Steeleville, IL, Charlie and Dawn Mays of Plainfield, IL; sister: Debbie Dudley of Hardin, KY; Many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, and his maternal grandparents: Mable and Paul VanOver and uncle Heardy Paul VanOver; Paternal grandparents: Sadie and George Wilson, and several aunts and uncles. Mr. Vanover served in the U.S. Navy, during the Vietnam Conflict and was also in the Army National Guard. He was an over the road truck driver in which he owned and operated, he was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill and a member of the American Legion Post #1096 of Campbell Hill. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill. Debra Rathert, Lay Minister will be officiating. Burial will be at St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8pm and then on Thursday from 7:30 am until 9am at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava. Then from 10 to 11 am at the church. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Passages Hospice or St. Luke's Building Fund.
