CAMPBELL HILL – Randall A. (Randy) Caby, 70, of Campbell Hill, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Randy was born January 22, 1952, in Granite City, IL, to Jack and Regina (Zotti) Caby. He married Debra K. Mayer on October 14, 1979, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL. Randy was retired from Chester Mental Health. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville, Steeleville Eagles, and Shiloh Community Club. Randy enjoyed his grandchildren, gardening, yardwork, traveling, and repairing old lawn mowers.

Randy is survived by his wife, Debra K. Caby, of Campbell Hill, IL, children: Amanda (Ryan) Cleland of Edwardsville, IL, Scott (Brittany) Caby of Glen Carbon, IL; grandchildren: Collins Cleland, Noah Cleland, Henry Caby, Lillian Caby; brothers: David (Donna) Caby of Ellis Grove, IL, Kevin (Chris) Caby of Red Bud, IL; mother-in-law, Darlene Mayer of Steeleville, IL, sister-in-law, Brenda (John) Parker of Steeleville, IL, and brother-in-law, Ron (Lana) Mayer of Cape Girardeau, MO.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Herman Mayer, and brother-in-law Jim Meisner.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville, with Rev. Mark Harris officiating. Burial to follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville. Friends may call from 6 – 8 pm, Friday, and then 8 – 10 am, Saturday, at the church.
