SPARTA – Randall G. Bierman, 59, of Sparta, passed away at 12:10 PM, Friday, December 7, 2018, at his home in Sparta.
Randall was born on February 5, 1959, in Ft. Riley, Kansas, the son of Joseph and Darlene (Sprietler) Bierman. He married Roseann M. Vosholler, on July 12, 1990, in Austin, Texas, and they shared 28 years of marriage. Randall had work as a printer at World Color Press and Universal Printing in St. Louis, then worked at Buchheits in sales. He was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill, was a avid Pittsburg Steelers Fan, and enjoyed hunting, football and Nascar.
He is survived by his wife; Roseann M. Bierman, of Sparta, children; Samantha Bierman, of Sparta, Tyler Bierman, of St. Louis, Missouri, Michael (Kailee) Wetzel, of San Antonio, Texas, Chad (Anne) Wetzel, of Collinsville, Illinois, grandchildren; John and Lillian Wetzel. He is also survived by his parents; Joe and Darlene Bierman, of Willisville, and 2 sisters; Rose (Danny) Kellerman, of Pinckneyville, and Loreen Bierman, of Sherman, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Alan Kornacki officiating, burial will follow at the Percy Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening at the funeral home where friends may call from 5 to 8 PM, and then on Tuesday from 7:30 AM until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, or the American Cancer Society.
