STEELEVILLE, Ralph L. Rubach, 85, of Steeleville, passed away at 6:30 AM Friday, May 3, 2019, at Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab Center in Pinckneyville, Illinois. He was born January 13, 1934 in Campbell Hill, Illinois the son of Herman and Martha (Huseman) Rubach.  Ralph married Jeanette Lohman on August 8, 1953 in West Point, Illinois.

Ralph was retired from Gilster Mary Lee Corporation.  He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville, the Booster Club at Perryville, Missouri and the Shiloh Hill Community Club. Ralph loved to hunt duck and deer.  He also loved to spend time with his family.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Jeanette Rubach, Steeleville; daughter, Karen (Kenneth) Miller, Percy; 3 grandsons, Kristopher M. Miller, Kenneth R. (Jessica) Miller and Kory L. (Amanda) Miller; 6 grandchildren, Annie, Autumn, Allison, Kenneth III, Haley and Hayden Miller.

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and 1 infant sister.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, Illinois with Rev. William F. Engfehr III officiating.  Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL.  Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Monday, May 6th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 7:30AM till time of service. Memorials may be made to Randolph County Humane Society or St. Mark's School.
