STEELEVILLE – Ralph F. Lohman, 76, of Steeleville, passed away at 4:00 am, Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Ralph was born in Steeleville, Illinois, on October 13, 1940, the son of Louis H. and Lorena Meyerhoff Lohman. He married Lora M. Hicks on November 24, 1962 at Bremen, Illinois. She preceded him in death on February 10, 2002. He was a retired Small Engine Mechanic. Ralph was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Bremen and Eagles Aerie #3960, Steeleville.

Ralph is survived by one son, Douglas Lohman of Chester; one daughter, Cathy Burris of Chester; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; six brothers, Vernon Lohman of California, Kenneth Lohman of Red Bud, IL, Harold Lohman of Stillwater, OK, Donald Lohman of Steeleville, Larry Lohman of Steeleville, Jerry Lohman of Steeleville; four sisters, Jeanetta Rubach of Steeleville, Norma Jean Miller of Fairview Heights, IL, Ruth Koch of Steeleville, IL and Betty Gregory of St. Charles, MO.

Ralph was also preceded in death by his Parents; one son; one daughter; one sister; and one great grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Friday, February 10, 2017 at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, with Rev. Edwin A. Reuter officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Sparta, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Thursday and on Friday from 7:30 am until 10 am. Memorials may be given to the Family.
