JACOB – Ralph S. Hollmann, 92, of Jacob passed away at 10:55 AM, Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at his home.

Ralph was born on October 21, 1927, in Jacob the son of Herman F.J. and Adela E. (Kaufmann) Hollmann. He married Lornie Ruth Fritsche, on June 27, 1953, at the Christ Lutheran Church, Jacob and they shared 66 years of marriage. Ralph was retired from the Jacob Farmers Union Cooperative after 32 years, he served on the board from Egyptian Telephone Cooperative for 42 years. Mr. Hollmann was a lifetime member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Jacob.

Ralph is survived by his wife; Lornie Hollmann, of Jacob, children; Teresa (J.D.) Stroud, of Salem, Illinois, Ken (Carol) Hollmann, of Jacob, Marcia (Jim Nizick) Hollmann, of St. Louis, Missouri, 7 grandchildren; Christa (Monette) Fuhrhop, of Chicago, Illinois, Cheryl (Adam) Kirsch, of Bel Air, Maryland, Corey (Liz) Fuhrhop, of Chicago, Illinois, Kent (Heather) Hollmann, of Ava, Jamie (Stephen Roberts) Hollmann, of Energy, Brandi (Doug) Bitner, of Brownsburg, Indiana, Nicole (Chad) Lipe, of Fort Polk, Louisiana, 7 great grandchildren; Elijah Kirsch, Devin Kirsch, Derrek Bitner, Kaitlyn Bitner, Lora Bitner, Nash Lipe, and Emberly Lipe. Ralph is also survived by one brother; Raymond (Juanita) Hollmann, of Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Mr. Hollmann was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Freemont Hollmann.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Christ Lutheran Church, Jacob with Rev. Mike Kettner, officiating, burial will follow at the Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Gorham. Visitation will be on Saturday morning at the church where friends may call from 9 AM to 12 Noon. Memorials may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church, or the Christ Lutheran School. Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava is assisting the family with the arrangements.
