STEELEVILLE - Ralph Heuer, 75, of Steeleville, passed away at his home in Steeleville on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 8:28 am. Ralph was born in Steeleville, Illinois on June 28, 1937, the son of Harold G. and Norma Behrens Heuer. He married Geraldine W. Rubach on July 9, 1960 in Wine Hill. She preceded him in death on September 13, 2009. He was a farmer and retired laborer from Local #925, Ellis Grove, IL. Ralph was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill and the Laborers Local #925, Ellis Grove, IL. Ralph is survived by his children, Donald Heuer of Steeleville, Kevin Heuer of Steeleville, and Nancy Heuer of Steeleville; six grandchildren, Natalie, Nathan, Stephanie, Morgan, Lance and Cody; and one sister, Mary Lou Eaton of Steeleville. Ralph was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill with Rev. Tim B. Zechiel officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday and on Thursday from 7:30 am until 11 am then from Noon until 1 pm at the church. Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery Fund or St. Paul's Lutheran Church Roof Fund.
