COLUMBIA – Jewell Falkenheim, 94, formerly of Ava, IL, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023, at her home in Columbia, IL.

Jewell was born December 7, 1928, in Alto Pass, IL to Edward and Blanche (Tanksley) Dallas. She married Roy B. Falkenheim on January 21, 1948, in Ava, IL. He preceded her in death on October 15, 1992.  Jewell was a homemaker and a member of St. Louis Revival Assembly of God Church, St. Louis, MO.

Surviving is her daughter, Cheryl Hagler of Columbia, IL, her granddaughter, Joanna (Jeff) Cholet of Waterloo, IL, her great grandchildren: Devin, Bri, Kylie and Ashlyn.

Jewell is also preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters: June Kilpatrick and Catherine Zimmer.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 3:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL, with Reverend Atangsi Anue officiating. Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery, Ava, IL.
