Preston Wayne Glodo, 63, died unexpectedly August 10, 2021, at a Yavapai County Hospital in Prescott Arizona.  He was born April 5, 1958, in Murphysboro, Illinois, the son of Frankie Wayne and Shirley Dean (Luthy) Glodo.

Preston married Pebble D. (Ulrich) Glodo and together they had four children: Jason, Nicole, Matthew, and Dezarae.

Preston was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the Yavapai County Sheriff's Department in Prescott Arizona in 2010.  He then returned home to Illinois, where he spent time as a volunteer at the Randolph County Humane Shelter.  Preston had recently moved back to Arizona.

Preston was preceded in death by his wife, Pebble (Ulrich) Glodo, daughter Nicole Glodo, father Frankie Glodo, brother Michael (Rick) Glodo, and brother Kevin Glodo. He is survived by his mother Shirley (Luthy) Glodo of Tilden, IL, son Jason Glodo of Sun City, AZ, son Matthew and his wife Lisa Glodo of Prescott Valley, AZ, daughter Dezarae Glodo of Sparta, IL, brother Brett and his wife Rebecca Glodo of Willisville, IL, brother Bart and his wife Patina Glodo of Sparta, IL, nine grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Boucher Cemetery in Murphysboro, IL. Those who wish to remember Preston in a special way may make gifts in his memory to the family. Arrangements by Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava, IL.
