ELKVILLE, Pressley C. Bell, 52, of Elkville, passed away at 8:35 A.M. Sunday, August 30, 2009, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Pressley was born August 24, 1957 in Murphysboro, Illinois the son of J.B. Bell and Juanita P. (Hiser) Bell and Donald Crawford. He worked in Quality Control at General Cable in DuQuoin, IL. He was a veteran of the US Army having served from 1978-1982. He was baptized at Elkville Christian Church and was a member of Motorcycle Riders Memorial of Illinois. He is survived by his father, Donald Crawford of Vergennes, IL; two brothers, James and Donald Bell of Vergennes, IL; one sister, Wanda Phillips of Pinckneyville, IL; and a special friend, Pamela Tuttle of Elkville, IL. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Father, and Grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the H.B. Vancil Community Center in Ava, IL, located in Ava Park with Rev. Gary Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the H.B. Vancil Community Center in Ava from 6 to 8 pm Friday and on Saturday from 11 am until 1pm. Funeral under auspices of Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava. Memorials may be given to the Motorcycle Riders Memorial of Illinois.
