SPARTA – Pien Lawton, 71, of Sparta, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, IL.

Pien was born in the Kingdom of Thailand.  She married Steven W. Lawton on June 22, 1979 in East Alton, IL.  She was a Homemaker and enjoyed gardening and taking care of their home.

She is survived by her husband, Steve W. Lawton of Sparta and her family in Thailand and her family in Illinois.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, with Rev. Michael Lawton, officiating.  Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Sparta, IL.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Wilson's Funeral, Steeleville, where friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Memorial may be made to the Randolph County Humane Society.
