STEELEVILLE – Phyllis M. Gerlach, 85, of Steeleville, passed away on Wednesay, November 25, 2020 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, Illinois.

Phyllis was born in Randolph County, Illinois, on December 29, 1934, the daughter of August and Lena Wahlman Meyer.  She married William Gerlach on June 1, 1967 at Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville, Illinois, he preceded her in death on January 14, 2004.  Phyllis was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL.  She had retired from Sparta Light Metals.

Phyllis is survived by her son, David L. Meyer of Coulterville, IL.

Phyllis was also preceded in death by her Parents.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Steeleville, with Julie Posth, Parish Ministry Assistant, officiating.  Burial will follow. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:00 am.
