MURPHYSBORO – Peggy J. Miller, 75, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Illinois.

Peggy was born on March 24, 1949, in Granite City, IL, the daughter of Alfred L. and Virginia (Osborn) Poole. Peggy was a Retired Manager in retail. She was of the Christian faith.

Peggy is survived by her children: Lori (Scott) Satterlee of Murphysboro, IL, Brian A. (Alice) Hines of Murphysboro, IL; her grandchildren: Kelly, Shelby, Michael, Matthew, Tabby; her 3 great grandchildren, her sisters: Frieda Easton Schreck of Riverton, IL, Sandra Bower Cox of Fort Wayne, IN, and Dawn Seyferth Reuscher of Evansville, IN.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Timothy Wayne Poole.

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 29, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at Glenn Cemetery, Jacob, IL, with Rev. James Easton officiating. Visitation will be at Glenn Cemetery, where friends may call from 12:30 until the time of service.
