AVA – Pearl M. Guy, 77, of Ava, passed away at 9:20 pm, Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at The Manor in Carbondale, Illinois.

Pearl was born in Ava, Illinois on June 27, 1937, the daughter of Thomas C. and Minerva I. Crisler Guy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ava and was retired from World Color Press in Sparta.

Pearl is survived by two brothers, Wilburn L. Guy of Ava and Charles E. Guy of Ocean Side, CA; and one sister, Betty Marnati of Murphysboro.

Pearl was preceded in death by her Parents; three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. Tim Olson officiating. Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, where friends may call from 10 am until 11 am Friday.
