STEELEVILLE – Pauline Gerberding, 92, of Steeleville, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in Steeleville, Illinois.

Pauline was born November 11, 1929, in Campbell Hill, IL, a daughter to Henry and Mary (Laramore) Ehlers. She married Omer Gerberding on May 31, 1947, in Steelville, IL. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2008. Pauline was a homemaker. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL, and BBK American Legion Auxiliary Post #480, Steeleville, IL.

Pauline is survived by her sons: Danny Gerberding of Goreville, IL, Todd (Tammy) Gerberding of Steeleville, IL; grandchildren: Alison Krack, Darin Gerberding, Tiffany Morris, Torrey Gerberding; great grandchildren: Grant, Kate, and Isabelle.

Pauline is also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister, daughter-in-law, Sharon, and grandson-in-law, Dale Krack.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 21, 2022, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Matt Helfrich officiating. Burial to follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Friends may call from 9 – 11 am. Memorials may be given to Maple Creek Hospice and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O.
