CAMPBELL HILL – Paul K. Steele, 89, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 5:53 pm, Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Manor Court, Carbondale, Illinois.

Paul was born in Campbell Hill, on March 31, 1930, the son of the late Ralph and Lola (Rohlfing) Steele.  He married Roslyn N. Goetting on November 25, 1950, in Campbell Hill.  She preceded him in death on December 31, 2017.  He was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean Conflict.  P.K. was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Post Oak. Campbell Hill; Campbell Hill American Legion Post #1096; St. John's Church Men's Club; and had been active on Willisville Town Board and Fire Department.

P.K. is survived by three children, Paula (Bruce) Luthy of Chester, Glen (Tammy) Steele of Percy and LeeAnn (Sam) Carson of Ava; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Paul was also preceded in death by his Parents and two brothers.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday, July 29, 2019, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Post Oak, with Rev. Dr. Thomas Kratzer and Rev. Cecil Dunning officiating.  Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Post Oak.  Visitation will be at the church from 1 pm until 3 pm Monday.  Memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church, Post Oak.
