AVA, Paul David Luthy Jr., 56, of Ava, passed away at 9:08 A.M. Monday, October 05, 2009, at his home in Ava, IL. He was born July 14, 1953 in Murphysboro, Illinois the son of Paul David Luthy Sr. and Mae Evelyn (Walker) Luthy Sr. Mr. Luthy was a over the road truck driver and of the protestant faith. Paul is survived by one son; Paul David Luthy III of Willisville, IL; sister: Wanda and Thomas Keene of Cape Girardeau, MO; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Paula Mae Luthy. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava. Rev. Robert Boyett will be officiating. Burial will be at Percy Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Thursday from 10 am to 1pm. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
