STEELEVILLE, Paul W. Gremmels, 69, of Steeleville, passed away at 9:43 A.M. Saturday, August 27, 2011, at his home in Steeleville, IL. He was born April 12, 1942 in Steeleville, Illinois the son of Elmer Gremmels and Talitha (Fiene) Gremmels. Paul married Sharon Koeneman on August 29, 1964 in Bremen. Illinois. He is survived by his wife Sharon Gremmels of Steeleville, IL; children: Shelley and Jon Dintelman of Steeleville, IL, Kathy and Josh Miluer of Murphysboro, IL, Scott and Michelle Gremmels of Steeleville, IL and Aaron and Leslie Gremmels of Steeleville, IL.; four grandchildren: Aidan Dintelman, Reece Miluer, Owen Gremmels and Mikkah Jacobus; one brother: Nelson and Shirley Gremmels of Novato, CA; one sister: Joyce and Don Wheelden of Sparta, IL; brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. Paul is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Gremmels was a plant manager for Gilster Mary Lee Corp in McBride, MO. Paul was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville. Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke will be officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Tuesday night from 4-8 PM and then on Wednesday from 7:30 am until 11am then from Noon to 1pm at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran School or Donor's Choice.
