WILLISVILLE, Paul "Dempsey" Culp, 93, of Willisville, passed away at 11:30 AM Monday, March 23, 2015, at Randolph County Care Center in Sparta, Illinois. He was born January 14, 1922 in Willisville, Illinois the son of Andrew and Lillie (Biesner) Culp. Paul was retired from the Federal Government. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post #480 in Steeleville, IL. He is survived by his son, Kevin (Sonya) Jackson, Cleveland, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Victoria, Jacob and Jolee; Sister: Olive Lazenby, Garden Grove, California and several Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews. Paul is also survived by Special Friends, Glenn & Martha Myers, Percy, IL and Kenny & Jan Bell, Ava, IL. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Wilson's Funeral Home Percy, Illinois with Rev. Willis Durbin officiating. Burial will follow at Percy Village Cemetery, Percy, IL. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11AM until hour of service at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Percy.
