CENTRALIA – Patrick Alan Mickelson, 31, of Centralia passed away peacefully with his parents by his side at 11:24 AM, Sunday, June 21, 2020 in Centralia.

Patrick was born on May 1, 1989, in Streator, Illinois, the son of Jeffery and Sandra (Rosenbalm) Berry. Patrick was a factory laborer. He was a graduate at Trico High School, then later made the move to Centralia, Illinois.  Patrick's life forever changed when he found out he had a beautiful baby boy Lyric Alexander that he had always prayed for. Once Patrick found out he was a father he set a goal to be the father his Dad has always been to him, a coach, a friend, someone that was stronger every day.   Patrick always had a very strong bond with his Ma and Dad that he cherished every day. He never stopped impressing his Ma, and always thrived to be the man his Dad is. The love he had for his brothers and sisters was beyond words. He was a very caring and giving person, he always wanted to make sure everything or everyone was okay. Even after death he still wantint to touch lives, and be a hero to some. Patrick helped 3 families get better by donating his heart & kidney to a 61 Y/O man, his liver to a 17 Y/O boy and his pancreas & kidney to a 31 Y/O female.  He always made sure everyone in the room had a smile on their face. He was loved by so many amazing friends and families.  These bonds that will forever remain cherished.

Patrick is survived his loving family, a son; Lyric Alexander, of Centralia, Illinois, Ma and Dad; Jeffery and Sandra Berry, of Centralia, Illinois, grandparents; Marsha and Melvin Rosenbalm, of Aubern, Indiana, Doris and Richard Latham, of Ava, Richard and Martha Berry, of Kinmundy, Illinois, Sister, Jennifer and Antonella Quirina, their kids Eve and Sage,  Sister, Sheryl Berry her daughter Karissa, Brother, Carl Mickelson, Brother, Mark and Tina Berry their kids Braelyn and Nolan, Sister, Jennifer Anderson her son Kameron, Sister, Kristin and Jordon McClaine, their Kids Landyn and Mailee. Sister, Kayla and John Aitken, their son Parker.  He was extremely close to his aunts, uncles, 1 ^st and 2 ^nd cousins and many many friends.

Patrick was preceded in death by 1 brother; Ricky Anderson.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at a later date at The Rock Church, in Centralia, Illinois with Pastor Steve Upchruch officiating. Memorial may be made to a Love Fund for the Family and mailed to the Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Ava, Illinois 62907.
