AVA – Patricia L. Rogers, 79, of Ava, passed away at 8:30 pm, Monday, February 15, 2021, at Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab, Pinckneyville, Illinois.

Patricia was born in Chester, Illinois on March 31, 1941, the daughter of Aulsie Kalvin Catlett and Ruth McKenzie Catlett.  She married Carl Dean Rogers on June 18, 1962 in Murphysboro.  He preceded her in death on April 16, 2014.  Pat was a Homemaker.  She was a member of Ava Assembly of God Church in Ava.

Patricia is survived by her son, Jeff (Starlitt) Rogers of Ava; two grandchildren, Josh Rogers and Stephanie Rogers; great grandchildren, Maya Kay Rogers, Gauge Rogers, Brantley Hoffman and Kegan Hoffman, Cheyeanne Skidmore, Wyatt Reiman, and Dylan Skidmore; and one brother, Dick Catlett of Arizona.

Patricia was also preceded in death by her Parents; son, Steve Rogers; and brother, Ronnie Catlett.

Per Patricia's wishes, no services will be held at this time, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in Mt. Joy Cemetery, Murphysboro.  Memorials may be given to the Ava Assembly of God Church.
