CAMPBELL HILL – Patricia Reiman, 80, of Campbell Hill, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at 6:50 pm, Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at home. She was a very strong woman, she fought until the end and was the rock of her family.
Patricia was born in Cutler, Illinois, on November 24, 1938, the daughter of the late William "Pat" and Elsie Irvin Murphy. She married Roy Peter Reiman on February 12, 1955, at Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2015.
Patricia was President/Owner of PJR & Associates. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church – Post Oak, Campbell Hill; Jackson/Union Port District; Women's First; Past President of Southern Illinois Erection Association; past President of AGC District 9; Previous Vice President of National Women's Contractor Association; on the Community First Cedar Court Bank Board; and was a Democrat Precinct Commiteewoman. Patsy was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She was a huge fan of Mark McGwire. Patsy and Pete led a very active life. They were very involved in Democrat politics on the County, State and Federal level. They loved to travel. They visited all 50 states as well as several foreign countries. But the greatest loves of her life were her grandbabies, especially the great grandchildren, Jacob, Wilson, Tyne, Lyla, Calvin, Kara Jane, Reed, Kyler, Jackson and Nya. She loved watching Jacob and Will play sports. She led a wonderful life full of laughter and love. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Patricia is survived by one son, Scott (Sandy) Reiman of Campbell Hill, three daughters, Cindy (Rick) Svanda of Ava, Stacy Reiman of Campbell Hill and Lisa Jo Reiman of Chester; grandchildren, Jaime (Casey) Lodge, Nathan Svanda, John Reiman, Kellie Reiman-Flores, Lindsay (Andrew) Oetjen, Rachel (Levi) Marshall, Patrick Ranta, and Shannon (Chris) Santangelo; and great grandchildren, Jacob and Wilson Lodge, Kara and Reed Flores, Tyne and Lyla Oetjen, Kyler Reiman, Calvin Marshall, and Jackson and Nya Santangelo.
Patsy was also preceded in death by her Parents; one infant son; one infant grandson; and one granddaughter, Emily Reiman; and two brothers, William Murphy and Donald Barmann.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 9, 2019, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, with Minister Deb Rathert officiating. Visitation will be at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, where friends may call from 10 am until 2 pm. Memorials may be given to the Patricia Reiman Scholarship Fund or St. John's Lutheran Church – Post Oak.
