WILLISVILLE – Patricia Jane Morgan, 84, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Patricia was born on February 17, 1940, in Steeleville, IL, the daughter of Robert Harold and Willie Jewell (Strain) Gill. She married Wayne Dean Morgan on February 28, 1958, in Percy, IL.

He preceded her in death on November 11, 2024. Patricia attended Steeleville High School and graduated from Alvison Drawn business College in Birmingham, AL. She had a love for crocheting and embroidering. Patricia was a sales representative for Bell South Phone Company for about 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Percy, IL.

Patricia is survived by her sister, Linda Gill Healy of Bethe Springs, TN, her 2 half-sisters: Deborah Gill (Jerry) Thornton of Spanish Fort, AL, Rachell Gill (Reese) Curry of Dacula, GA; and her half-brother, James (Shelly) Gill of Douglasville, GA.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Wayne D. Morgan, her parents:, Robert "Sonny" Gill, Willie "Judy" Strain, her half-brothers: Robert "Bobby" Gill and William Gill, her niece, Faye Helton, her nephews, Billy and Robert Helton, and a great nephew, Jon Phillips.

Patricia's wishes were for cremation and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
