STEELEVILLE – Patricia A. McAdams, 47, of Steeleville passed away at 5:23 PM, Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at her home.

Patricia was born on February 3, 1973, in Sparta the daughter of Gary and Jeanette (Vosholler) Welten. She married Scott A. McAdams on October 26, 2002, at the Peace Lutheran Church, in Chester. Patricia was a sales associate at Walmart in Chester. Mrs. McAdams was of the Catholic faith and she loved to write, she was the author of the book "Chances Worth Taking" which was published in 2007. She loved animals and spending time outdoors and with her family.

She is survived by her husband; Scott A. McAdams, of Steeleville, parents; Gary and Jeanette Welten, of Steeleville, brother; Jeffery A. (Jaclynn) Welten, of Steeleville, father and mother-in-law; Robert and Vivian McAdams, of Steeleville, two nephews; Andrew and Alex Welten, one niece; Allison Welten, and aunts uncles and cousins.

Celebration of life services will be held at a later date. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is assisting the family with the arrangements.
