STEELEVILLE, Patricia A. May, 76, of Steeleville, passed away at 10:05 AM Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Three Springs Lodge in Chester, Illinois. She was born August 25, 1937 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of John and May (Joseph) James. Patricia married George May and he preceded her in death in 1989. Patricia was a retired Registered Nurse and was of the Catholic Faith. She is survived by her daughters: Melinda (Jim) Grothaus, Steeleville, IL and Mary Frances of Springfield, IL; Grandchildren: Morgan and Chelsie Grothaus; Sister, Nora Christ and Brothers: Charles James and John Paul James. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. May's wishes were for cremation. There will be private internment services at a later date in Carlinville, IL. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
