Obituary
SPARTA – Patricia A. Edwards, 82, of Sparta, passed away at 1:25 pm, Friday, January 6, 2017, at the Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, Illinois.
Patricia was born in LaGrange, Illinois on November 27, 1934, the daughter of Edward and Sara Jones Vanicek. She is of the Baptist Faith and is a retired Transcriptionist from Uarco Co., in Kennett, Missouri.
Patricia is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Danny) Hill of Sparta; one son, Daniel (Patricia) Edwards of Lynchburg, VA; nine grandchildren, Katie, Daniel, Bradley, Carly, Asa, Zac, Corey, Laci and Chelsi; and five great grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her Parents.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm, Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, with Rev. Dr. Dennis R. Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, on Monday from 5 pm until 7 pm. Memorials may be given to the Memorial Fund at Sparta Community Hospital.
