AVA – Pamela S. Huffhine, 73, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at 1:30 pm, Friday, May 6, 2022, at her home in Ava, Illinois.

Pam was born on September 24, 1948, in Chester, IL, the daughter of Lester and Clara (Stirnaman) Lybarger. She married William L. Huffhine on August 14, 1965, at Piggott, AR. Pam was retired from Murphysboro Walmart and retired owner of Bill and Pam's Produce in Ava. She was a member of Crain Baptist Church in Ava.

Pam is survived by her children: William L. (Lynn) Huffhine, Jr, of Michigan, Sheila A. (Dennis) Sawyer of Ava; grandchildren: Bradley J. Gogue of Carbondale, Dylan M. Gogue (fiancé Jessica Howell) of Murphysboro; and sister, JoAnn Young of Chester.

Pam is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

It was Pam's wishes to be cremated with a graveside service to be held 2:00 pm, Monday, May 9, 2022, at Evergreen Cemetery, Ava, IL, with Rev. Tim Olson officiating. Everyone who wishes to attend is asked to meet at the cemetery.
