PERCY, Orpha Brenning, 84, of Percy, passed away at 12:37 PM Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at her home in Percy, Illinois. She was born October 13, 1930 in Percy, Illinois the daughter of Clyde and Freda (Snider) Steele. Orpha was retired from World Color Press in Sparta, IL. She was of the Protestant Faith. She is survived by her children: Larry Brenning, of Coulterville, IL, Garry (Jane) Brenning of Enfield, NH, Jerry Brenning of Coulterville, IL and Janice (Steve) Thompson, of Steeleville, IL; 5 Grandchildren and siblings: Eileen Glasscock, Albany, GA, Catherine Littrel, Salem, IL, Rickie Gearhart, Percy, IL and Arthur Steele, Percy, IL. Orpha is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, Illinois with Rev. Steve Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Percy Village Cemetery, Percy, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, on Thursday where friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
