STEELEVILLE, Onedia Eggemeyer, 94, of Steeleville, passed away at 2:10 PM Monday, August 24, 2015, at Memorial Hospital of Chester in Chester, Illinois. She was born February 20, 1921 in Walsh, Illinois the daughter of Henry and Dora (Beckman) Lindwedel. Onedia married Walter A. Eggemeyer on November 26, 1944 at Walsh, Illinois. He passed away on August 18, 1999. Onedia was a Homemaker. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville, IL and a member of the Amadeus Sunday School Class at Steeleville Baptist Church. She is survived by her son: Danny (Kathy) Eggemeyer, Steeleville, IL; daughters: Jenith (Gary) Henson, Steeleville, IL and Marilyn (Kenneth) Knop, Campbell Hill, IL; son-in-law: Charles Heuman, Walsh, IL; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Onedia is preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandson, Kyle Knop, 1 daughter, Donna Heuman, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:30 AM at Steeleville Baptist Church in Steeleville, Illinois with Rev. Dr. Scott Foshie and Rev. S. Blake Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 7:30 to 9:30am and then from 10:30 to 11:30am at the church. Memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Cemetery Fund or Steeleville Baptist Church.
