CHESTER – Omen Dickerson, 81, of Chester, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, Illinois.

Omen was born on July 15, 1943, in Waterloo, IL, the son of Lovell "Ted" and Dolly (Worley) Dickerson. Omen was a Logger. He married Willa Sue Jones on February 15, 1974, she passed away on December 20, 2023.

Omen is survived by his children: Ronda (Christopher) Gaertner, Tamra Venable, Kristina (Steven) Conwell, Debbie (Bill) Parrish, Eva Schorfheide; his grandchildren: Austen (Krista) Barnhart, Jacob (Brittany) Gaertner, Haley Gaertner, Addison (Kathryn) Wachtel, JT Conwell, Zoe Conwell, Roman Conwell, Michael Paul ( Elysha) Baker, Nichole Lloyd Groff, Crystal (Billy) Lloyd Hiller, William Lloyd; his numerous great grandchildren, and his brother, Artist Dickerson.

Omen was also preceded in death by his Parents, infant son, Billy Joe Dickerson, brothers: William, Lonnie, Ernie Dickerson; and a sister, Omea Baker.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 1:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL. Burial will follow at St. John UCC Cemetery, Valmeyer, IL, at 3:30 pm. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon where friends may call from noon until time of service. Memorials may be given to Donor's choice and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O.
