CAMPBELL HILL, Norman H. Misselhorn, 91, of Campbell, passed away at 10:35 AM Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at the Illinois Veteran's Home in Anna, Illinois. He was born December 6, 1920 in Campbell Hill, Illinois the son of Edwin and Alma (Gerberding) Misselhorn. He married Laverna E. Gerlach on September 16, 1945 at Campbell Hill, IL. She passed away September 19, 1994. Norman was retired from the coal mines as a shop foreman. He also was a veteran in the U. S. Army during W.W. II. Norman was a member of Campbell Hill American Legion Post #1096, Kaskaskia V. F. W. Post 3553 of Chester, IL and the Randolph County D.A.V. of Chester, IL. He is survived by 1 son: Terry (Laverne) Misselhorn, Campbell Hill, IL; 1 Grandson, Neal Misselhorn, 1 Brother: Clarence Misselhorn, Campbell Hill, IL ;3 Sisters: Dorine Schnaare, Steeleville, IL; Edith Huddleston, Sparta, IL, and Ruth Kessel, Ullin, IL. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, 1 granddaughter and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 9:00 AM at St. Luke's Lutheran Church , Campbell Hill, IL with. Rev. Laura Kamprath officiating. Burial will follow at St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava, IL on Friday from 6pm to 8pm and at the church on Saturday from 8 to 9am. The preferred form of remembrance is contribution to St. Luke's Lutheran Church
