AVA, Normagene Quillman Hughlett, 87, of Ava, passed away at 12:45 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Chester Rehab and Nursing Center in Chester, Illinois. She was born November 10, 1924 in Campbell Hill, Illinois the daughter of James Leroy Quillman and Mamie May (Lively) Quillman. Normagene married Joseph W. Hughlett on Friday, November 29, 1963 in Pryor, OK. Joseph passed away on August 15, 1984. She is survived by her: daughter: Ruth Ann and Tom Barkley, Litchfield, AZ; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Normagene is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George Quillman. She was a retired store clerk and of the Baptist Faith. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Wilsons Funeral Home Ava, Illinois. Rev. Thomas E. Bevis will be officiating. Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery, Ava, IL. Visitation will be at Wilsons Funeral Home, Ava on Sunday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and then from 7:30 am to 11 am on Monday. Memorials may be made to Tangen Cemetery.
