STEELEVILLE, Norma L. Vorderbrugge, 89, of Steeleville, passed away at 3:02 P.M. Sunday, October 09, 2011, at her home in Steeleville, IL. She was born June 19, 1922 in Marissa, Illinois the daughter of Tom McCrary and Thakla (Boyer) McCrary. Norma married Arthur Vorderbrugge on October 19, 1941 in Perryville, MO. Arthur passed away on July 8, 1998. She is survived by one brother: Thomas J. McCrary of Percy, IL; several nieces and nephews. Norma is preceded in death by her parents, one brother: Valley McCrary and one half brother: Ralph Schaffer. Mrs. Vorderbrugge was a homemaker in her own home, she was also a member of the United Methodist Church of Steeleville, IL, a past member of Steeleville Chapter O.E.S. and the White Shrine. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Richard A. Newcom will be officiating. Burial will be at Cutler Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Wednesday from 10 am to 1 pm. Memorials may be made to Steeleville Baptist Church.
