PERCY – Norma J. "Totsie" Meyer, 93, passed away at 9:20 pm, Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation, Chester, IL.

Norma was a homemaker and enjoyed babysitting for her grandchildren and other children. She also enjoyed baking for her family, especially pies and sugar cookies. Norma was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Percy, IL. She was born on October 13, 1930, in Pinckneyville, IL, to Arta R. and Jewell (Keeling) Gladson. Norma married Wayne M. Meyer on December 23, 1950, in Steeleville, IL. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2015.

Norma is survived by her daughters: Patricia (Michael) Hagene of Steeleville, IL, Marsha (Jan) Byrd of Percy, IL, Brenda (Stan) Gerlach of Goose Creek, SC, Donna (Steve) Owen of Percy, IL; her grandchildren: Chad (Heather) Hagene, Kyle Hagene, Mark (Becca) Byrd, Brandy (John) Junge, Becky (Jeff) Davalos, Jeremy Owen; her great grandchildren: Marshall and Myles Hagene, Evelyn and August Junge, Shelby Davalos; and several nieces and nephews.

Norma was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Leonard and Russell Gladson, sisters, Dorothy Estes and Carol Campbell.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. James Tinzmann. Burial to follow at Steeleville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, where friends may call on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 7:30 am until hour of service.
