CAMPBELL HILL – Norma A. Barkau, 91, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, IL.

Norma was born on June 9, 1933, in Fredericktown, MO, the daughter of Everett and Beulaha (Tripp) DeGuire. She married Leslie H. Barkau on November 14, 1964, in Wine Hill, IL. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1996. Norma was a homemaker and was of the Protestant faith.

Norma is survived by her two sons: Robert (Marion) Barkau of Sparta, IL, and Kenneth M. Barkau of Campbell Hill, IL.

Norma was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 20, 2024, 2:00 pm, at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL, with Minister Debra Rathert officiating. Burial to follow. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, 509 West Illinois Street, Steeleville, IL 62288.
