AVA – Nina M. Henson, 67, of Ava, IL, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022, at her home in Ava, Illinois.

Nina was born November 24, 1954, in Chester, IL, to Truman and Vivian (Turner) Brawley. Nina worked in Home Health Care and was of Pentecostal faith.

Nina is survived by her son, Terry (Joy) Harvey of Cutler, IL, grandchildren: Dustin Hamlin, Devon Harvey, Destyne'e Harvey, Juliea Warner, Isaiah Palacio; great grandchildren: Cheyanne, Phoenix, Mason, Jake, Jedi; sister-in-law, Kathy Brawley and friend, and a niece, Mindy (Jimmy) Douglas.

Nina is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Everett, and Bobby.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL, with Rev. Cecil Compton officiating. Friends may call from 9 – 11 am.
