MCLEANSBORO - Neil A. Knutson, 36, of McLeansboro, passed away at 10:11 AM Sunday, January 22, 2012, at Heartland Regional in Marion, Illinois. Neil was born October 29, 1975 in Pinckneyville, Illinois the son of Donald Lee Knutson and Heather (Robertson) Knutson. Neil married Beth Daniels on January 24, 2011 in Hamilton County Court House, McLeansboro, IL. He was a construction laborer. Neil is survived by his: wife: Beth Knutson of McLeansboro, IL; 3 daughters: Rebecca Hoyt, Heidi Knutson, Katie Knutson; 1 son: Neil Knutson, II; grandchild: Jayston Hoyt; one sister, Cyndee Miller of DuQuoin, IL; one brother, Lee Knutson of Sioux Fall, SD; mother and step father, Heather and Bill Griffiths of Johnston City, IL; and his father, Donald Knutson of Cherokee, IA. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Neil's wishes were to be cremated after the visitation.
