STEELEVILLE – Nancy M. Watts, 66, formerly of Steeleville, IL, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at her home in Jackson, Missouri.

Nancy was born on October 1, 1957, in Red Bud, IL, the daughter of Anthony and Wilma (Scherle) Eichenseer. Nancy was a Drug and Alcohol Counselor with the Community Counseling Center, Cape Girardeau, MO. She was of the Catholic faith and was a very active member and sponsor with Alcoholic Anonymous and with the Humane Society.

Nancy is survived by her son, Tim (April) Eichenseer of Steeleville, IL, her grandchildren: Braden, Corbin, and Raylan; her siblings: Vicki Nurnberger of Peoria, IL, David (Pauline) Eichenseer of Ruma, IL, Jeanne Schroeder of West Palm Beach, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 7:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Mark Harriss officiating. Interment, at a later date, will be at St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Ruma, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Wilson's Funeral Home, where friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
